Statistical calculations and analysis have now been made easy by the use of this statistical package developed by the Center for Diseases Control, Atlanta. The latest version, Epiinfo, is available free and can be downloaded. The user’s guide and help files are also available for free download. Instructions for installing and use of the software are given in the user’s guide. The website also provides a webinstall feature - that makes it possible to resume broken downloads. This is a necessity considering the fact that uniterrupted internet connection is still not possible in small towns.
